I'd be happy to go all-digital if there was a price benefit. As it is now, a lot of services are just using it as an excuse to cut own consumer ownership and to that I say: Boo sir, boo.
Some people find it offensive, I'd say most do not (I'm in the latter category). That still doesn't change what the word is and why people use it. When someone calls a white person a "cracka" they're essentially labeling a person based on their race, I'd say that constitutes a racial slur. Still...
I would choose to perish not on some godforsaken battlefield where one fights with guns, swords, or bare fists. No sir. I would instead choose to leave this world on the glorious battlefield of political debate. Instead of explosions of fire, they would be explosions of rhetoric. Passive...
You definitely make a good point about not being able to return a game in some situations and I certainly understand your frustrations. It sucks when games pull that kind of crap and you get stuck with a bad game, and I suppose it's ethical if you are trying a game and intend to buy it later...
I feel like the argument of people saying "I wouldn't have played it anyway" goes out the door the second you actually play it. That's what you pay for. The VG industry is still developing and growing, and kicking it in this vulnerable state isn't helping.
The only one of those that I'm excited for is ME3 and if it isn't good I'll be very disappointed. Then again I was one of the (apparently rare) people that enjoyed ME2. There's always Bioshock Infinite I guess.
A decent amount of the civilized world already allows it. I don't see why it shouldn't be allowed. One would think that it would improve the safety of all involved and pull funds from the more unethical/violent criminal activities. It's understandable that decriminalizing it would be similar to...
I'm going to be optimistic and say that this is at least a step in the right direction. I personally feel that EA didn't "ruin" Mass Effect 2, and I'm willing to look forward rather than look back.
http://www.computerandvideogames.com/300860/news/mass-effect-3-to-focus-on-smaller-more-intimate-squad/ A ways down, he says that every main character from the series will return in some way provided they survived the suicide mission. As for dying midway through, I guess we'll just have to wait...
I guess it just comes down
You make some good points, I guess it just comes down to opinion in the end.I guess I did like some of the things he had to say. He filled a pretty nice role as a religious figure in a game practically devoid of religion. Maybe I just didn't use him as much as I...
3 million is pocket change for Disney but what else is new? I just want to know where exactly this information was being posted, and with whom this personal information was being shared with?
I'm kind of two minds on this issue. On one hand, it is a great incentive for players to actually be civil with each other while playing online. Nothing motivates like the all mighty dollar. On the other hand, it is kind of unfair to those of us that mainly play single player games, like myself...
