I voted on the second choice. I don't think racism is funny, but it's the closest choice I've got. I find the concept of racism funny, just because of how ridiculous it is, but not racism itself.
It really depends for me, personally. However, a lot of people in here have a lot of misconceptions about The Civil War. First of all, there is no definitive reason regarding the cause of the civil war. To this day, historians still argue about this.

The Night Angel Trilogy was awesome as well. Another really good one was The Fire's of Heaven Trilogy and The Broken man Trilogy, By Russel Kirkpatrick.
I had a really hard time picking between Hobb's Assassin/Fool trilogy and A Song of Fire and Ice. I also just bought The Gathering Storm, Volume 1 of A Memory of the Light, by Sanderson, conclusion of Jordan's Wheel of Time. Hobb has yet to disappoint me, and while I haven't read the Liveship...
WHAT?! I can only pick one... What an outrage.... I voted Duhnam, but he's tied with Larry and Beck. I just picked Duhnam because his act is the same thing over and over again. Even more then Larry. Dan Cook is funny, occasionally, but obscenely overrated. Haven't even heard of the others...
