I'm currently making an indie game and I have creatures called Kobolds and most people who sees my design docs immediately say "That's not what Kobolds looks like!!!" Then they immediately reference Dungeons & Dragons. *sighs*

Yeah, their styles completely clash. I mean the last Mortal Kombat had an actual robust story mode, Street Fighter never cares about stories. Mortal Kombat has spectator mode and tournament mode right out the gate and they patch game issues while Street Fighter prefers to release expansions...

I still an under the belief that rebooting a comic series is stupid. People who don't read comics will just continue to not read comics. What they should be doing is comic reform and get better writers to do better self contained stories so the read does not reference older material.

Put it into a mutual fund so I can make some money instead of letting it waste away in a bank account and lose money due to 3% yearly inflation.

The idea is great, but the execution looks like a Disney super safe flick. So, I think I'll wait for home release.

I think it's great and deserves the praise it gets. The only problem I see is many people automatically dismiss it for Street Fighter or Tekken quickly without giving it a fair chance. I have not played it to a high level of competition yet so I don't know how it holds up but I have more fun...

I actually read the beginning of the title "US Army Developing Android" and got SUPER excited, but then the rest of the sentence crushed any hopes I had of the US Army turning super cool.

Yeah, it's the best MK ever, the presentation value is to notch! The sound effects are awesome and all the super moves look great. Everybody is cool in this game! I'm currently playing the story mode and there's no load times and it just keeps moving along like God of War 2 did! Awesome...

Or put a plot twist at the end that Kratos is actually... from Carthage!

Kratos vs Jesus vs. Muhammad vs. Buddha vs. Joseph Smith Jr vs Shiva. FINISH THE FIGHT!

It would be pretty cool if they had killstreaks, but you summon BOWs into the match. That would be nuts.
