This is very similar to the game I'm describing but not the one unfortunately, the art style of the characters was more realistic than cartoon. But thanks for the reply, will keep on searching

This has been bugging me for a long time and nobody seems to know what im on about. -old combat racing game -the game cover was of one of the characters (bold i think) in a go-cart like car using a baseball bat to hit on of the female characters -each character had a way to attack i think...
