Title summarizes it for the most part. The AI in SWBF2 is horrible (as anyone who has played/plays the game would know) and I'm wondering if there's a mod for the PC version that will make the AI smarter?
One of my pilots just took the lander that I put in the enemy ship and crashed it into...
(Sorry if this is in the wrong forum; wasn't sure where else to put it)
I played Clear Sky a long time ago and absolutely loved it for the most part. The immersion was great and the squad-based combat was fun. But the game was waaay too buggy for me to keep playing. Kept crashing and lagging...
Also (I'm restarting FF7 and am determined to not use google once) do the bonus characters (Yuffie, Vincent) show themselves to you or are they another thing you have to ask NPCs about? I remember that you find Yuffie in a random forest somewhere that I never wouldve thought to just run around...
I tried playing Final Fantasy I, VI and VII and I always have this problem that makes me give up where I have no idea where to go next. How does everyone know where they're supposed to go next. It's such a big, open world to explore and you can go anywhere you want, so what's the right way to go...
I'm aware of Netflix and the online videos but I'm wondering if I'm able to download movies/videos onto my SD card and watch them on my 3DS. I googled the hell out of this but the only responses I can find to the question are from early 2011 and I want to know if there have been improvements...
We all know how ridiculously expensive it can be to make a videogame. Would decreasing the price of games from the $60 mark(in America) be cost effiecient considering how much they cost to make?
We all want the price of games to drop, but has anyone done any real calculations on how successful...
I think Ocarina of Time and Shadow of the Colossus are the biggest ones for me. They're both games I've heard people talk about for all my life but only took the time to play them a few months ago.
It sucks to miss out on that nostalgia feeling everyone else seems to enjoy from them so much.
I swear this isn't to inspire fan-rage. I haven't gotten very far in the game and I think it's very engrossing so far.
However, I'm curious as to why everyone sees this game as some sort of pinnacle of game design excellence. Maybe I just haven't gotten that "wow" factor or I'm missing an...
Unless this game is so old that nobody really cares about it anymore. Which is depressing because I love pretty much every other Firaxis game, and I feel like I could really get my nerd on if I knew how to play this one.
I've just started playing this game and have no idea how movement and turns work. The unit says "Move: 1" but I am clearly able to move him much more than 1 tile. Also: when does my turn end, and how do I know it's about to end? I just keep randomly being allowed to move my units around but...
He has YET to show up, however. Odd. Did we forget one of the magic words?
I was personally okay with the ending, because I've faced FAAAR worse disappointments before.
The only thing I will happily concede to the obnoxiousness surrounding the ending is that the fact the Normandy escaped...
I'm not above trying out older games, either, DOS games included.
I've played:
the Mass Effect series (my favorite series)
KotoR (loved)
Dragon Age (again: loved ;D )
Baldur's Gate 1 (didn't really like it; is Baldur's Gate II better?)
Elder Scrolls series
Fallout series (all of them; I...
