I think you raise a good point here. Perhaps some fellow ladies of the forums could share with us what they would like to see in a female power fantasy type game?
Though come to think of it I don't think it'd be much different from a male power fantasy, other than perhaps less of an...
Oh gosh I can't pick a best. Here are a few of my favorites:
Paprika, Tokyo Godfathers, Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, Knocking on Heaven's Door (the Cowboy Bebop Movie) and the Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya.
My worst has got to be the Tales of Earthsea. Tried to watch it and just...
Oh gosh tropes in anime I'd like to see die horrible deaths... time to repeat a few in the thread and add some more.
1) Loser male protagonist who all the girls love for some reason. Honestly I don't like watching shows where the guy is a useless whiny and sometimes perverted annoyance. If...
I really enjoyed the first several episodes but the show jumped the shark for me during the bit where the male lead became a giant for some reason and the idol battle wasn't really my cup of tea. (Just felt drawn out and boring).
Also found the end just dumb. ;;
But its okay, because...
To be fair the progression of the setting is pretty cool. I do appreciate that the world didn't just arbitrarily not change during two generations, and the 1920s esque settings and technology blended with the cultural style of the four nations was pretty rad.
How are the gags doing in season...
What actual troll complains about 'high stakes'? The whole thing reads to me as a 'so there' to those critical and an arse pat for the creators. Also maybe it didn't come across in my prior posts but it was a final straw for me; insignificant and small compared to what annoyed me within the...
Here's what I was talking about: http://bryankonietzko.tumblr.com/post/24721131897/my-first-web-comic-hope-you-trolls-like-it (Sorry for the off site link, its on Bryan Konietzko's tumblr) Final nail in the casket for me.
Off the top of my head the only couple of anime I can think of that absolutely require your brain functioning beyond baseline are Haibane Renmei and Kino's Journey.
But I gotta say with Kill la Kill I think your brain has to be turned off somewhat to actually enjoy it.
I couldn't bring myself to watch season two. After the one dimensional characters of season one (whom I honestly hated), the love quadrangle nonsense, and the creator's douche-y response to fan criticism I'm out. Could go on a really long rant about some of the story aspects I found lazy, but...
I have really mixed feelings about this series. There are some parts I thoroughly enjoy but during episode two it was uncomfortable enough that I nearly just stopped in the middle. Going to give it one more episode so I can form a conclusion.
Things I thought were sweet:
-The over-the-top...
Wow um I gotta say OP that if I went out with a guy and he tried to push a bunch of presents on me like that I'd feel really uncomfortable.
But anyway to answer your question:
Gifts always make me a bit awkward, even on my Birthday I feel a little guilty for some reason. But something small...
:/ I'm gonna hope you're just joshin' around and that you aren't actually attracted to women still like your post maybe implies? (Darn you internet, stop destroying my ability to detect sarcasm and tone)
I'll feel liberated when I'm not villianized for not wanting sex. When I'm not treated as subhuman for my orientation by my peers and the doctors I go to seeking help.
Sorry. Just kind of bitter.
