99% of anime in general is overrated. The quality of the animation is pathetic, the voice acting is horrible and the plot/dialogue seem to have been written by a 13 year old. Obviously there are always exceptions, but anime on the whole is utter dross.

Crane flies are colloquially referred to as Daddy Long Legs, probably stemming from their legs proportion to their bodies being quite similar. But a true Daddy Long Legs is a spider, an araneomorph to be exact. Personally I find them fascinating.
