I'd punch either Shakespeare or the virgin Mary. Shakespeare because i had to waste hours reading plays i wasn't into and the virgin Mary because every painting i see of her she looks like she needs to be brought down a notch because she always looks really smug about herself.
ok i have killed people, played as zombies and commanded tank battles in games so if what i do in games really impacted on real life i would be a psychotic flesh eating murderer by now in charge of some militia, put simply this is the worst idea i have ever heard and i read that they were...
"to obtain the most realistic battle scenarios we made sure that the opposition only attacks 1 unit at a time like they would unless they're a native American tribe who will all charge at once and dissolve tactics into one giant melee battle"
"people told me the real world was hard but i've worked for Activision for 5 years and im yet to see a year where we haven't screwed people over with half done jobs"
"We haven't fixed all the bugs yet and we probably never will"
"It can be played on all platforms which is why were saying f*** off to PC gamers requests for dedicated servers"
"we have found that it is much more lucrative to develop hacks for our games than improve them."
"Because our game is so awful we will no longer charge an extortionate amount for it and will improve it with free downloadable content we were hoping to sell as a sequel"
Hearing about a new game that sounds good and you get ready to try it and then finding out that its a subscription of like 10 a month and realising its more than you want to pay i find that quite depressing its like someone says you can buy a cake for 5 pounds and then 10 pound a slice.
yeah i have empire total war and i must say it's realistic except for the AI sometimes makes stupid errors like charging infantry all the way up a hill directly at cannons other than that a good game.
oh forgot to say the sea battles are real difficult the ships need individually managing to cause any real damage but there is no way to manage more than two fully at a time and without constant attention the just sit idle getting shot to shreds by the enemy. oh and maybe im just really bad...
i have only played the demo version and have had no real crashing problems even on ultra high. the game seems fairly fun but i must agree i hope the AI on the real game is smarter than the demo because they just march slowly towards you as you set up long lines of infantry to mow them down, oh...
In the special forces edition you get 5 or more unique units to some factions. In the normal version you dont get.
But the units themselfs arent amazingly godly or anything. They just have more stats and better detail in them. Its up to you if its worth the extra cash or not.
thanks i was...
right now i've read your review and looked at the trailers and it looks fun if not really complex to control but before i buy it i was just wondering if any one knows the difference between normal and special forces edition?
