    Nice Guys Suck

You have these interests. That's what you should be trying to get across to someone, not just that you're nice. Talk about movies, play video games, talk about the university newspaper. Don't try to be some generic blank slate. The point, I think, is to not have "he's nice" be the ONLY thing...

Do you Pee in the shower?

No, it would be kind of awkward if I did. Positioning and all that. Also I think it is gross if a guy does it and doesn't soap off the area after or something, more relevantly to the actual intent of your question.

Jimquisition: Sony, Nintendo, EA and SOPA

They would be able to block anyone in the US from seeing it.

    Why buy consoles?

Personal preference, and the console-only games are more to my taste. ...It really shouldn't be more complicated than that, should it? Play on a PC and be happy, play on consoles and be happy, who cares what other people think?

    Is the Wii really gaming?

...Yes? You play games on it, therefore using a Wii is gaming. I think motion controls will probably stick around at least for a while, but it really isn't immersive for a lot of game types, so I don't think it'll be the only thing.

What did you do...BEFORE the internet?

Coloring books and Sega Genesis and Game Boy and Littlest Pet Shop... I was not really that old when I first got online.

    289: My Nintendo Shame

It seems like if the games you're looking for are ones like Halo, Fallout 3, and Red Dead Redemption, of course you're not going to enjoy the Wii. But I never really associated those sorts of titles with Nintendo at all. It's why I had a PS2 alongside my Gamecube.

How come no one's allowed to hate stuff anymore?

But that doesn't mean someone can't like coffee in spite of its health issues. Why bring up a laundry list of reasons why this is bad for you/not innovative/whatever when the topic at hand is liking or disliking something, and then starting arguments over it? I like bacon, you don't. Okay...

How come no one's allowed to hate stuff anymore?

Okay, back to my original point, then: you go about explaining your hatred in ways that cherry picks little bits of information that agrees with your point of view rather than takes into account the whole piece of information, and your tone tends toward "these are the ways my opinion is actual...

How come no one's allowed to hate stuff anymore?

And? I didn't say Elvis didn't revolutionize music. You've ignored the point of what I said twice now.

How come no one's allowed to hate stuff anymore?

As I said, I don't really care about the Beatles all that much, and I don't know their history. But a Google search turns up this list, at least: http://abbeyrd.best.vwh.net/wiener.htm

How come no one's allowed to hate stuff anymore?

Judging by how you've explained your dislike of the Beatles (for the record, my opinion on the Beatles is that I can take them or leave them), I'd say it was because you seem to make it sound like your opinion is the right one and people should conform to it, when really they have as much right...

Poll: Does Yahtzee affect your game purchases?

No, that's not really what he's doing with his videos. Even if he was, we don't like the same games at all. Sometimes I have looked at games he doesn't like the genres of that he really likes, though, or ones from genres he obviously hates that he doesn't rip to bits. For example, his TWEWY...

    Difficulty is Hard

The problem, or one of them, is that if a company gets a reputation for games that very few people can beat, then fewer people are going to buy them. Games are far more expensive than they were, and if I'm going to drop $60 for a game I want it to be something I'll be able to see all the content...

    Difficulty is Hard

It really seems to be a matter of what you came into the game for. I'm not old enough to have been too into the challenge-based games (I was four or five at the time the Sega Genesis was out, I just didn't have the motor skills yet), and got into games later based more on the interactive stories...
