Jade Empire hands down. Might have to go and start a new game on it now.

While most of what I loved has already been covered (FFVIII, MGS, etc. etc.) I feel this soundtrack still stands out above most in my memory:

This. Much better books than any other childrens/teen/adult series, including Harry Potter. Much worse film than Potter and a few contemporaries. Such a shame the studio wimped out with the more adult aspects of the book and effectively neutered the story.
