I think there is no universal meaning of life, you rather have to create meaning yourself, your own meaning will be important to you.

The thing is the games are very expensive to develop thus the prices can be quite high. They could still make a reasonable profit if they sold it for less than 50$ which is probably the average price of new games that come out.
