    Very Superstitious.

My students are always crazy on full moons and right before a storm! It is really strange... As for my own superstitions, which I have tried very hard to let go of, I think I have only one left that I still take kind of seriously: NEVER EVER GIVE ANYONE A KNIFE (OR ANYTHING SHARP LIKE...

Poll: Cooking, can you do it?

I can cook, although I doubted I could until the last year or two and the Internet has been a great help! Websites like recipezaar.com have helped me be brave and try new things. I am still quite surprised each night when I make something delicious!

Games you wonder if anyone else has played...

Wavy Navy - a game on my Apple IIe. It was simple, it was awesome, it was green and black. Another game I love and was ecstatic to be...

    Music is subjective....or is it?

    Music is subjective....or is it?

Personally, I have always believed that music is subjective, however, your question gives me pause. It seems EVERYONE (at least in my own experience) does enjoy some form of music. This has me leaning toward your idea of "perhaps a little bit of both" which is something I never really considered...

So do you have your kids names planned out?

So I always loved the name Alex. Alexander for a boy or Alexandria for a girl, whichever came first... Then I had this student named Alex. Not a bad kid, just absolutely maddening... shouldn't have been the end of the world, there are lots of kids named Alex, except THIS ONE had the same last...

I am a newbie here, but that is one of the first things I noticed! This place is a breathe of fresh air. I was nearly giving up on finding a community of intelligent life in Internet forums.

    The Wrong Trousers, Grommit?

Ditto Jeffers! Double disappointment for me - not about Wallace and Gromit and then the trousers are super-disturbing. They were cool until I saw the standing up pic.
