Killing Husbands and Buying Condoms in Fable 2

Since it was about her own experience playing the game, it'd be a bit odd if the article was full of you, yours, and theirs. Actually, the review was posted on Tuesday; this is something completely different. This is exactly why I like this game; you nailed it squarely. The you-but-not-you...

The Only Thing We Have to Fear

Dead Space went for the jumpy, in-your-face scare, as opposed to the kind of fear in System Shock 2, which was slow and relentless. (Think about your first run-in with a maintenance bot in SS2, watching the condition of your pistol slowly deteriorate and your armor-piercing rounds disappear, and...

Discord and Rhyme: When Bad Games Happen to Good People

The cyberspace segments annoyed the hell out of me, as they added nothing whatsoever to the story or gameplay. Opening a door shouldn't be a tedious experience of...walking...action...cutscene...walking...proceed. Screw it, just let me open the damn door and move on already. The more that I...

Discord and Rhyme: Taking My Self-Control

Try playing as a defender; I recently made it through the campaign with seven deaths, as opposed to about a hundred with the berserker and seventy with the bio-engineer. Also beat Hel without seeing the Valkyrie once, which surprised me. It was almost too easy. I sure wish I could stop...

Discord and Rhyme: My Cowboys Have Always Been Heroes

Ah, the relatively safe, innocent days of the Rice Krispy. Wait'll she graduates to walnuts. Ow. Glad you liked the article.

Discord and Rhyme: My Cowboys Have Always Been Heroes

Hmm. Sounds almost like a...challenge. Those are evocative, especially if they all draw inspiration from the same event. Not sure I wanna know about the "Boom," though, if they do. (What kind of scary-ass jellybeans did you have at YOUR birthday parties, anyway??)

Discord and Rhyme: My Cowboys Have Always Been Heroes

I'm not sure about the title either. I've never been particularly good at naming things, but I'll try to make the next one more relevant. Actually, I'd be happy just to call them all "Mayonnaise," or "Embarrassing Rug Burn," but those would probably meet with editorial disfavor.
