*facepalm* i've solved my problem now... it's so mind numbingly simple and embarassing that i'm not even going to say how i did it xD thanks for all the feedback guys... very much appreciated :) xx

probably... i just got fed up of trying to fix it, and heard from friends that i should have avoided it. so decided to start from scratch with a different emulator, which actually works perfectly for me... there's just the matter of memory cards ><

had serious issues with final fantasy 9 (probably one of my favourite games, so i was not best amused!) jumped around, got glitchy and etc when trying to cast magic, also froze during card games. Had trouble with Silent Hill, where it decided to just not load on occasions, and most of the time...

okay... regardless of whether it's illegal or not (even though i fully paid for the games and therefore feel i have the right to play them however i wish) thanks for the suggestions, and idid try ePSXe but it just bugged out on me and never did as it was told, i'll keep trying, and use state...

yup, and i own both a playstation and the games (just not a tv to play them on!)

ePSXe gave me no end of trouble for some reason =S and i used a friend's BIOS

I really do mourn for the loss of mind fuck psychological horrors... they just aren't what they used to be..

whenever i'm losing faith in horror.. i bust out silent hill 2, put on the headphones, and remind myself that true genius does exist in this world ^_^

a gamer's a gamer... some are more hardcore than others, but at the end of the day, we're all united by a love of all things game, naturally the more obsessive fans of specific games are going to gravitate towards eachother and feed eachother's obsessions.. there's no need for gamer snobbery xD
