i also forgot nub, nublet, nooblet, and n00blet. nub is worse than n00b but better than fr00b, and -let refers to slightly less than the full blown version of the base word. Ergo. if n00b is equal to "n" then n00blet is "n-1."

Honestly this seems like a classic case of Butthurt.
I love steam personally, as a majority of games are online exclusive or support multiplayer on PC anymore, the argument "cannot verify in offline" seems like a fallacy. Steam is not the only one's that demand that you update your software...
