    BioWare Supports Beleaguered Writer

This. The relationship between Bioware and hardcore PC RPG fans has been contentious for awhile now, driven in large part by totally unprofessional conduct on the part of Bioware and its employees. Bioware's fans were dismayed by Dragon Age, a series that went back to the roots of Bioware RPGs...

Extra Punctuation: What Is the Matter with You People?

For me the issue is that NPCs in Skyrim have 3 major functions. They talk, they fight, and they die. Children don't do the latter two, and they barely do the first. Aside from a throwaway quest in Whiterun and a game of tag in that first village, all I've gotten from children are single lines of...

    S.T.A.L.K.E.R Is it good?

Shadow of Chernobyl is the first game and is a good jumping off point for the series. I like Call of Pripyat a little bit more, but I think you'll get a lot more out of it if you've played SoC first. Clear Sky I could take or leave. The faction system is interesting, but I could never get it...

How SW:TOR is a major step BACKWARDS for MMOs

Have you ever played a Bioware RPG before? Because most of the things you're whining about are the same things they've done before. And, incidentally, the same things I enjoy about their RPGs. 1. The choice system model is standard for games with RPG elements at the moment. I'm not terribly...

Zero Punctuation: a (real) Duke Nukem Forever review

I think it's probably going to be when. Gearbox has proven that it can ship a product, unlike 3D Realms. And I'm sure Yahtzee will end up reviewing it, no request needed. It'll be a major release and isn't in a genre that he doesn't play. Not much more to say than that, really.

Zero Punctuation: Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days

The car accident metaphor was perhaps a little tone deaf, given recent events, but overall a pretty good review. Classic Yahtzee.

    Good RPG DS game?

Infinite Space is great if you've got a craving for sci-fi. It's got a JRPG story, but the protagonist won't make you give up the game after an hour (I'm looking at you, TWEWY). Ship and party customization, branching storyline, and a real-time battle system too, if that's your cup of tea.

AT&T vs /b/. A clash of the titans

I wasn't justifying AT&T (or anyone else, for that matter) squelching information. I was just pointing out that for something to be censorship, it must be governmental in origin. The reference to net neutrality actually ties into my point: net neutrality hasn't been enforced by a court order...

AT&T vs /b/. A clash of the titans

Sorry, but no. Read the text of the first amendment: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the...

AT&T vs /b/. A clash of the titans

Thing is, this isn't a first amendment issue. The first amendment's prohibition on censorship applies to the government ("CONGRESS shall make no law..."). In other cases, censorship may be applied without any bearing on freedom of speech, like if your employer bars you from making dirty/sexist...
