Ledger's portrayal of The Joker in "The Dark Knight"

"If I'm going to have a past, I prefer it to be multiple choice!" That's definitely The Killing Joke.

Ledger's portrayal of The Joker in "The Dark Knight"

I really liked the scene with The Joker, where he is sitting in the prison, and no-one wants to be near him. Reminds me of a quote from my all-time favourite DCU comic, Hitman, where he meets The Joker for the first time*... "And there he sits, just poisoning the world with his presence"...

Ultrajoe still owns no new Video games, and so a review of WH40K ensues.

Reading through that, I came across this little tidbit, which I haven't seen in any of the reading I've done: Crapsack World (More like a Crapsack Galaxy...) Make that a Crapsack Universe: escape the Milky Way and you're just going to run into more Tyranid Hivefleets and the dead galaxies...

    First Review: The Dark Knight.

Was it really that good? I heard good things and bad, and of course Yahtzee eviscerated it in his review. I've always *really* hated squad-based shooters. You can never rely on your team mates in the slightest - in fact, in Half Life Two when your squad linked up with you, I made it a point to...

    First Review: The Dark Knight.

Good points, all well made. Also, thanks j-e-f-f-e-r-s, correction made. It's been a long time since I read it, obviously! And yes, this is my first. Panache, you say? Let me get back to you. Thanks guys. Actually, my screen name is an old latin phrase - it means "We who are about to die...

    First Review: The Dark Knight.

This is my first review, and I know I have a long way to go before I'm posting on AICN. Let me know what you think. To be perfectly blunt with you, one and all, this has been my most anticipated movie of the year. To my absolute unending surprise, it didn't disappoint. I've read reviews...

Superhero FIghts you've always wanted to see...

In the desert. No advantage either way - nothing to set on fire, and no water to manipulate. Edit: In regards to the Human Torch vs Aquaman fight.

Superhero FIghts you've always wanted to see...

Thor Vs. Superman would be interesting - Big Blue has always had a semi-weakness to magic (re, Kingdom Come where he cuts himself on Wonder Woman's Hephaestus-forged sword).

It's the whole, nerfing-for-casuals thing that riddles modern gaming. Wait, sorry, wrong game/medium. And anyway, I mean really, what is the point behind rhetorical questions?

Well, to be perfectly fair to the Universe, it is ridiculous, but it's also ridiculous in scope and adaptability for individual players. If you wanted to play an Imperial Guard unit that has gone over to the Chaos Gods, there is (was? been a while) scope for it there in the rules.

That's um... that's a lot of tanks. And they have... *thinks*.. That's a LOT of cannons.

I haven't been into WH40K since the Rogue Trader days (I know) and am thinking of picking the hobby back up - I always had a lot of fun, a la the second guy. Impossible rolls are actually one of my favourite things - because it's actually kind of realistic ( as much as it can be). My Scout just...
