Bill Nye the Science Guy Passes Out "Like Lady Gaga"

All tuckered out from all the science-ing he'd been doing. With science.

    Fallout: New Vegas

Huh. Yahtzee was just about the last person I expected to be making a "Monkey Magic" reference.

Tyra Banks Fancies Herself the Next J.R.R. Tolkien

I respond to the notion that this idea will catch on with an emphatic: "PFFFFFFFFFFFFT."

Escape to the Movies: Robin Hood

I thought the same thing when I first heard of it. It's actually quite tasty.

Games are art. Present your case!

Grim Fandango, as in my mind it's the closest a game has ever gotten to being cinematic. (In plot, pacing, and characterization. Not necessarily in gameplay.) Playing that game I'm instantly reminded of classic film noir from the 30s, and it's effing beautiful.

    The Scariest videogame character

When I was younger, the Skull Kid from Majora's Mask scared the absolute bajeezus out of me. I'm not sure why, looking back on it. Especially when there was a giant moon and an evil mask to be frightened of more.

    Musical Guilty Pleasure

Crash Test Dummies. Everyone only wants to remember them for "Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm" (Which isn't even that bad a song.) but they've had a lot of other really enjoyable songs besides their one mainstream hit. ("Afternoons & Coffeespoons" and "Winter Song" to name two.)

    Favorite bands?

My favorite bands are sort of jumping all over the place, as I'm always discovering new things, but lately I've really gotten into That Handsome Devil. You may recognize them from Guitar Hero 2 and Rock Band 2, and their music is pretty astounding stuff. Sort of a hybrid between punk and...

    Your favourite Beatles song

No question, my favorite is "Helter Skelter." Charlie Manson inspiration aside. <_<

Escape to the Movies: Hot Tub Time Machine

You give the remake crowd WAY more credit than they deserve, MovieBob. Christopher Lloyd wouldn't even appear AS Doc Brown. More likely they'd stick him in some cheesy wink-at-the-camera cameo role like they do with every other bad remake made in the history of the written word.

    Bostonian, actually.

Add one gun to a game

I would put the Gravity Gun from Half-Life 2 in Team Fortress 2. Wait for it... And I'd give it to the Engineer. Congratulations! I've broken the game by either allowing Engineers the option of moving sentries to un-sappable areas, or allowing them to build something, pick it up, and...

The Most Emotional Thing You've Witnessed in a Game

Y'know, somehow I had a feeling someone would say that one. Honestly, looking back I was more pissed off at that than moved when I saw that, because I'd spent so much time buffing the character up. Thinking further back, I was a lot MORE moved earlier in the game at Barrett's reactions...

Poll: Game Informer's 'Top 200 Games' List, BS?

Off the bat I can immediately see something terribly terribly wrong with it, even after a brief SKIM of the list. No Adventure Games! No Monkey Island, Sam & Max, I Have No Mouth & I Must Scream, or Grim Fandango...None! And yet all four of the 3D Grand Theft Autos made it onto the...
