WoW is a great game but I would suggest waiting for cataclysm before starting. With the expansion they're gonna revamp the whole quest system making low level quest much better than they used to be. You could also wait for The Old Republic if you've played any KOTOR game you'll probably love it.

you can use an engineer CG2 or RPG7 with an ammo box to rocket rape a position for some reason the M95 doesn't (always) kill in one shot in hardcore mode making it almost useless
