Actually I liked his cartesian reference: even now there exist games in which AI opponents are more preferrable than the real ones. Because they are cleverer. Wonder when a situation Yahtzee described will actually occur.

Crusader Kings 2. One of the best grand strategy games in years (in terms of gameplay, accessability, graphics, style, etc.). Even though I have never expected to see it on the Escapist GOTY list - as far as I've understood Escapist isn't quite into strategies.

Brucie Kibbutz. This guys is meant to be annoying and he's quite successful in it. Every "date" with Brucie I had ended with a new creative way of killing this a**hole.

People like gunfights and explosions - at least most people. IOI is trying to appeal to broader audience but as far as I've seen the game they haven't stepped far away from the usual disguise-stealth Hitman gameplay.

I believe that he is just as good as he was before. Problem is that I got used to him and his humor. However, now the fact thatI don't constantly laugh during ZP helps me realize what a smart reviewer he is. One of the best if you ask me, actually.
