If you haven't yet - try Pandemic. Really quite fun - the base game to start with (the expansions are good but without an understanding of the base game they are just a bit of confusion too soon, unless it's just the first expansion (can't remember their names) that allows for 6 players instead...

Nice. On your quest for things to review that aren't sandboxes, maybe give Battle Chef Brigade a go? Mostly because I liked it and I think the comments you'd make about it will tickle me, but also because you might like it too, who knows.

If you're really looking for a lovely, friendly introduction to a whole bunch of board games I suggest a Google of Table Top - it's a web show by Wil Wheaton and company and I've used it with most all my friends to show them how much fun we might have with some cardboard and a bit of imagination...

Dragon's Crown just came out for PS4 in a remastered edition - which my husband and I enjoyed. Mind the scantily clad beauties that abound, but if she's not sensitive about that it's a fun one with pretty art.

I said it in another thread but - I just saw it and I rather liked it. Even though I don't play WoW I enjoyed it, and my fiance who does play WoW (which is why we went) is excited enough that he just rolled up a new character (which I think is like his 20th or something... but who is counting...

Eh, I quite liked it actually and I don't play WoW but my fiance does (that's why we went obviously) - I felt it was a good enough fantasy movie to interest someone like myself and entertain, but clearly he got more out of it than I did because he's rolling up new characters right now. Lol...
