    Zero Punctuation: Nier

The whole "three bits of masking tape" thing is already quite prevalent in the realm of Japanese amateur and fan art. Actually, most of the time it's usually band-aids for some reason. Figure that one out.

Ever play a game too much and it carries over into real life?

Oh, I didn't mean to imply that -you- had said there was a negative influence, I was just kind of sharing my experience in contrast to yours. To be honest, I actually wish more people would have an objective view on the matter like the one you've expressed.

    Zero Punctuation: Borderlands

I have to say I agree 100% on the online co-op thing, in a general sense anyway. I remember purchasing Resident Evil Outbreak quite some time after it had come out, only to find that most other people playing it were apparently only interested in doing speed runs of the levels they'd already...

Why do you play, what you play?

Awesome. To me, this is the mark of a good writer, the kind of writer that makes that carefully thought out plot with the wonderfully open-ended conclusion that ends up not being as appreciated as it really deserves. It's like a perfect balance of imagination and intelligence. Wow. Come to...

Ever play a game too much and it carries over into real life?

True, true. It might also have to do with different levels of immersion. I saw Last Airbender recently, never watched the TV series before, just thought it looked like a fun movie, and wow... I got sucked in. Soon after the credits were rolling, I closed my eyes for a moment and actually started...

Ever play a game too much and it carries over into real life?

I think it all has to do with how your individual mind works. I see a vague bit of right brain/left brain going on here, but I'm really not quite sure how to word it. It's like... some people carry over the literal aspects of playing a game, others carry over the simulated experiences, i.e. your...

Why do you play, what you play?

Wow. You sound a lot like me. A question: when taking in any given story through whatever medium, do you often automatically "fill in" the "plot holes" that you later find out people criticize the work for?

Ever play a game too much and it carries over into real life?

I dunno, I hear a lot about how games supposedly negatively effect behavior, but all of the effects they've ever had on me have been quite positive in my opinion. Lots of good memories, adding spice to life here and there, helping keep my imagination fresh and sharp, general positive...

Why do you play, what you play?

Yeah. The miniaturized scale. :P Only kidding, I know just what you mean. I think.

Why do you play, what you play?

Hmm... Well, right now I am playing and enjoying SaGa Frontier for several reasons. Back in '98 (oh god i feel like such an old hag) that game had me enraptured from start to finish. The settings, characters, storylines... and now that I'm playing through it again, the gameplay exhibits what is...

Ever play a game too much and it carries over into real life?

A few different things for me... First of all is sound effects. They kind of make themselves a part of my daily life. One example, whenever I forget to take a medicine I have to take every day, I'll start getting these odd spurts of weakness. To this day I still hear the MGS4 "nanomachine"...
