Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii - Imagine if Skull and Bones was good

Oh, one other thing @BrawlMan: It's possible to play the arcade games in local multiplayer from the main menu, if you have someone to play with. SpikeOut and Ocean Hunter can be played in split-screen co-op, Daytona 2* in split-screen, and Virtua Fighter 3 (both versions) and Fighting Vipers 2...

Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii - Imagine if Skull and Bones was good

Depends if you skip the cutscenes or not. If you actually watch the story, expect it to take a few hours; if you really don't care and just want to fast-forward it should only take one or two.

    What are you currently playing?

I know I should've played more of FF7 Rebirth, but I've had other stuff on my mind, and most recently that's been finding a copy of Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii on sale and playing my first Yakuza/LaD game in a long-ass time. Good to say, kicking ass still feels as good as it ever has...

Tiny, insignificant details in games that really bother you

Animal Crossing is prepared for people to attempt to change their system clock, and will not take kindly to you doing so. Among other things, you won't be able to buy turnips and any you have in your inventory will be deleted.

    Brawlers

In both games, Spikeout should be available in the arcade(s); I don't know what chapter specifically you get the ability to visit them in, but they're a normal part of the open world like all the other minigames.

    Brawlers

I might have to move up my timeline for picking up Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth after finding out this is one of the old Sega arcade games recreated in it, along with Virtua Fighter 3. (They're both also in Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii.) Never played it before, but I kinda want to, even more than...

Tiny, insignificant details in games that really bother you

Normal arcade game name entry screen: Push the stick left and right to select a letter, push the primary action button to select a letter, and after the third letter you can press 'END" if it doesn't automatically to confirm your initials for the high scores. Virtua Fighter 2's name entry...

    God of War Ragnarok Thread

It isn't good to just believe the very first video you watch on a subject as gospel truth and stop looking. Especially if you don't have firsthand experience with the subject (in this case, if you haven't played the game yourself, or at the very least watched a full playthrough).

Tiny insignificant details in games that really impressed you

In Earthbound, there are several times when a party member will temporarily leave the party. If they happened to be holding a key item that you'll need before they return, you'll receive a call from Escargo Express, the delivery service that stores your items, saying that the departing member...

Tiny, insignificant details in games that really bother you

So I just found out that it is apparently possible to randomly die as a child during Kingdom Come Deliverance's character creation screen. I mean, I guess that's one way to get across the brutality and "realism" of the setting early on, but surely there are ways to do that without wasting your...

This enemy from Deltarune that's shaped like the Chinese character for 'ghost', and is named 'Guei', a rough transliteration of that character.

    50% Through 2025 review

I've mostly been trying to clean up my backlog so far, and as a result I don't have much to say about 2025's new releases. I can say, however, that I don't believe that 2025 will be a total write-off of a year, no matter what comes out in the back nine or how good those games are or aren't...

    General Gaming News.

I mean, sure, but there's also the updated version included, which I'm pretty sure has the original WOTL FMV cutscenes and supposedly will add its own original content; it's not impossible that it might have the WOTL extra jobs and units too, I reckon. Though I agree with @FakeSympathy that I...
