Jimquisition: Online Passes Are Bad For Everybody

I live in Australia and even though our dollar is on par with the US currency, publishers still make us pay over $100 for a new game. So when two come out in the same week that's a cool $200 we have to lay down to get the goods. Think of me and my kind suffering here in this hellish cultural...

    De Blob 2 Review

It's funny, bright and relaxing to play. Not every game needs to be grim and ultra realistic. There are plenty of other games out there that fufill that catagory. The levels, however tended to go on for a bit too long. At least they did for someone like me who just HAD to finish every single...

Film This Chick Stuff! Part One: A Call for Aid

Dear GOD, please may there never be a movie from the pink aisle made ever. There is a reason no one has made any movies about 80's girls toys, it's because they sucked. They were shallow, had little to no back story or were incredibly dull or predictable. Boy?s toys from the same period...

Girls Would Love Heavy Rain, Says CliffyB

Stupid idea is stupid. Women who read glossy magazines are more concerned with getting their hair done than spending 10 hours playing an 'interactive movie.' You'd have more success selling the game if you'd, say, handed out freebies with movie mags saying it's the 'new step in interactive...

    Review: Fallout: New Vegas

The movie you are thinking of is 'Crystal Skull.' Indie hides in a fridge to survive a nuclear bomb test. Because it's made of lead. At the explosion site... I facepalmed when watching it, but i can't wait to gets me that hat!

    Nice Splice

As a genetics major working in the field it's good to know that we aren't always portrayed as the demonish, forgetful, idiots the media and the zealots would make us out to be. Briliant movie with a great cast, can't wait to see it in... 2 months time when it comes out in Australia *sigh*

    242: Lab Coats and Lunatics

Great article, I have to agree that more science in games would be a good thing. It's like the dark flow of video games, so big and huge on the horizon of space, sucking entire galaxy's towards it but never capable of being observed. Man science is so freaking cool.

    Articulate? For a Gamer

An insightful article. The marginalization of our group is incredibly ingrained within our society. I live in Australia, the only western country not to have an R18+ rating for games. I live in the state occupied by the man responsible for the continuation of this state of affairs and can say...

Science!: Hammerheads, Fly Sex and Evolution

Does the guy from the Wisconsin University who was quoted in the last part of the piece know anything about speciation times? It takes alot longer than 14,000 years to speciate. For example, polar bears and brown bears (i think, it could be grizzlies though) sepparated some 200, 000 years ago...

206: My Big Fat Geek Marriage

My fiancee and I have been dating since highschool and i have to say that laughter is the reason we are still together. He always knows how to make me smile even when I'm trying to beat him to death with a game controler. I think it's our six year aniversary this year... but he remembers these...
