    Your favorite underappreciated games...

"Urrr hows it going?" I love the Little Big Adventure series. Don't think i've enjoyed a french game so much as these. No offence to the french, it was just so quirky and fun. I wonder about that grobo who was in the cinema waiting for the new star wars films, what did he think of them after...

Wow Steam may very well be the dumbest application related to pc gaming ever....

Sounds just like you are overly fussy with your system lighten up lol, unless steam being in the wrong area is a matter of life or death i wouldnt worry.

    Favourite Directors

Alfred Hitchcock is my favorite director of all time. Best director around now probably Spielberg, M. Night. Sayamaraer or however his surname is spelled and Tarantino are also very good directors. Akira Kurosawa, Ridley Scott and Stanley Kuberick are brilliant too.

Anyone living in the UK: which is more anticipated?

Dr Who is childish mainstream crap now (kids dr who weekly magazines, trading cards etc), first 2 new series were good. BBC puts alot of money into the series but it still looks pants compared to most american tv productions. Yeah its probably trying to keep the old cheap style look. I'd say...

    Handheld games are the devil!

Pokemon caused sore thumbs, perfecting angles and reflection physics in the name of getting just the right light on my game boy pockets screen, and getting up at 8am and playing till late during the 6 weeks holidays all those years back. Before i passed my driving test i had a 1 hour bus...

Favorite way to kill (or be killed) in a video game.

Fav death was on unreal tournament 2003 on the Death Ball? (cant remember the mode name) you jump through the hoop with the ball but fall into the put of horizontal bars below. Falling down there was the first ragdoll death i'd experienced landing on the bars between the characters legs like 5...

    Favourite Video Game Vehicles

Mammoth Tank from Red Alert 2, with 3 stripe promotion. Almost unstopable. Halo 1 Warthog. Warthog jousting with my brother on silent cartographer level was lots of fun. The BMX from GTA:SA. Healthier way to travel ;-p Plus was alot more useful getting around in the city.

Poll: what is your favorite piece of science fiction

Voted Star Wars as i love the films, book and games. Blade Runner would come joint second with ghost in the shell. I feel they both have a very similar concept behind them, dealing with what makes a human, human.

    Favourite Lines From Video Games

My favorite serious dialogue is from KOTOR 2. Can't remember the exact words, but its after you have been evil and killed all the council on the different worlds. She comes in and just kicks shit out of you with words, then lightning. Really felt sorry for my character at that point.

O Rareware, Rareware! Wherefore art thou Rareware?

Donkey Kong you missed that out! The SNES game was near perfection, only beaten by Super Mario World. N64 version of Donkey Kong was abit so-so compared to Banjo Kazooie and Banjo Tooie; which IMO was the best 3d platformer on the 64. Lets hope Banjo Threeie or whatever its going to be...

    Poll: ...getting old?

Yeah 12 in 1982 that makes you very old now. Depends what you mean too easy, getting killed 100 times in a row isn't my idea of a challenging game. I agree on too predictable, plus games lead you by the hand far too much. On the Bioware forum people complained about not having the game...

    What are you reading?

Reading "Catcher in the Rye" by J.D. Salinger for the 4 or 5th time. Learned about it from watching Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex Gig 1. Its abit tough to find a reason to keep reading to begin with; and right through most of the book, because it can be abit boring. But i find it...
