I'd spend a few grand pimping out my computer and/or entertainment system (TV, game consoles, etc.) and other nerdy stuff (anime, toys/figures, etc.). I'd probably also try and get myself back into college. I had to drop out because it was too expensive. As for the rest? I'd split it between...

1) I'm broke. 2) My PC is crap and I don't have a 360 or PS3. 3) I've always preferred JRPGs over WRPGs.

Aside from NDS and the PSP, I haven't had the money to purchase any of the current gen systems yet, and my computer is ancient. So... pretty damn long.

For movie suggestions, check out Cinemassacre's (aka Angry Video Game Nerd) "Monster Madness". This year he's doing campy/cult horror b-flicks.

I like wine, more specifically various red wines. Vodka and sake aren't bad either. I'm not much for regular beer, but I like that Mike's stuff.

I'm partial to screwdrivers. They're pretty simple, just mix vodka and OJ. I've also mixed sake and OJ, which wasn't too bad.

My favorite genre, by far, is RPGs. More specifically, I favor JRPGs (whether they be Action-RPGs or a traditional turn-based affair). Other than Fallout 1 & 2, I haven't played many WRPGs. My least favorite genre is FPSs and sport games. Before I go talking about why I like/dislike them...

Anime is a mass medium. It runs the gamut of genres and styles. There are good ones, so-so ones, and crappy ones. Same as video games, books, etc. But not every mass medium is for everyone. As diverse and wide-spread as they are, some people think video games are stupid and lump them all...
