most games from the SNES era hold up tight for me, along with any rhythm game in the vein of Um Jammer Lammy or Space Channel 5.

It seems a cop-out to recommend a remake, but the new Hunter X Hunter anime is tight shonen adventure, that streamlines the storylines and has a stronger colour palette than the old stuff. So.. yeah. I recommend that
