The Most Overrated Games that Aren't

I'm not a sports fan by any means but I enjoy a lot of sports games, including Madden despite the fact that I'm not American and don't give two shits about handegg. I understand that it sucks they keep rehashing the same game (though you can make this argument against a lot of series like most...

Poll: Five Nights at Freddy's - Do you actually find it scary?

It's not a jump scare game. It's pure tension and atmosphere. The jump scare is just a game over screen. For the rest of the game you have to contend with being alone, immobile and defenseless, which is effective horror.

    Your 'WOW!' moments in gaming

There are definitely recent games that can cause the wow reaction. Everyone I've talked to who played Dragon's Dogma took the same screenshot [http://www.herpy.net/gallery/data/media/68/1338943.jpg] at the same location during the final(ish) boss battle. That battle, and a lot of the battles in...

    favorite type of melee weapon?

I like proper medieval style war hammers. They're very rare in video games though, the majority of game hammers are basically cinder blocks on a stick.

What would you do if every videogame franchise just ended?

Rejoice. Franchises are used too often to excuse derivative gaming. "If it ain't broke" is a very limiting way of thinking. And a lot of people are persuaded to buy games for the brand over the content. It'd also stop people getting pissy because a sequel happens to be a massive departure for...
