Very much agreed, the movie looks good, but I'll have to wait until I'm in a situation where I can fast forward through the scene. Can't watch dogs get hurt, even in a movie.
Wait this is no longer true? Oh my God I feel old...
As for Ward, I guess I missed most of his controversy. But I don't really recall his fluff being so drastically different. That said I stopped playing before Ultra Marines were updated.
While it has a long way to go before it's on par with steam, I will say I have become steadily less negative about origin over the last year. I feel less like I'm getting screwed lately when I use it.
As someone for whom lego was a defining bit of their childhood I've been crossing my fingers for months that this movie would be good. Can't tell you how relieved I am that it is.
Might be tempted to pick it up, GTA 5 was fun, but the AA was so bad that I couldn't see what half the cars were until I was right on top of them. If a PC version is higher quality it might be worth it at least over a sale.
Yes, because is there is one problem this industry has its that games are just to darn cheep. 60 dollars is a such a steal, thank God the good companies put micro transactions in the game so I can pay more and make up the difference.
That REALLY looked pre-rendered. Until actual gameplay footage is released I'm very skeptical. Plus the uncanny valley is still strong for me on that picture with the soldier and the gun.
Eh, let em.
Murky copyright laws aside any company dumb enough to do this is just shooting themselves in the foot. Free marketing is free marketing and scrambling to gain the small sums of money youtube personalities make in exchange for forfeiting the free coverage of respected third party...
One of the best posts I've seen on this thread. Console gaming has certainly picked up some bad habits, but calling it dead is probably going to far.
Time will see if consoles will adapt to the change in markets. They might do well, (I.E. find what they can offer and push that, like Steam...
I did try a burn deck yesterday, it was one the closer games, (managed to damage him a little and stopped one of the angels, still overwhelmed me eventually though). Haven't played the Red deck as much though so right now I'm grinding it for more cards. Will give it another try tonight then...
The first duel in the Revenge campaign from Magic 2014 is really stupidly unfair, I'm convinced at this point that its just a cheep attempt by the developers to make you buy more cards. First dozen turns the AI just exiles every single card you play and then crushed you with multiple 5/5 flying...
Might have to give the Stanley parable a try. The comparison to Rosencrantz and Goldstein are dead is an intriguing one.
As someone who has always built their own PC's and has never tried one does Alienware really have that bad a reputation?
No, never broken anything electronic. I usually stop playing long before getting that angry. I have been driven to slamming my clenched fist onto the table a couple of times, but nothing more. Usually I just swear a LOT during frustrating bits. (Watching me fight the Man-Eaters in demon...
For one tiny second there I saw the HL3 tag and my heart leapt.
Then I looked twice and the darkness came back...
Ah well, as to the controller I like the idea, but I'm not sure I can see it just yet. I don't see how the pad will allow mouse like control, it looks like I'm just going to...
