I still don't understand why Cryptum gets so much hate from Halo fans. As far as I can tell, it doesn't contradict established lore besides maybe a few vague statements previously made about the Forerunners, the retconning of which really has no bearing on anything else. And to the best of my...
What side missions actually get locked off after the end of the main story? Pretty sure the only one I finished before the end of the campaign was the Mad Hatter one. I guess that one getting locked off makes sense given the context.
Anyway, this is definitely my favorite game of the year.
Just EA's usual bullshit. Of course, being a fan of the series and a number of BioWare's other games, I will be buying ME3 new, probably on day of release. To be honest, I may very well never touch the multiplayer though. It sounds like it's just something EA forced them to tack onto a game that...
Um. That was in the first Special Editions. It's apparently the one change Lucas actually realized was a mistake since it was removed it in the 2004 release.
That's a joke...right? RIGHT?
You see, the problem is that I do want them to give the original unaltered movies a proper re-release on a more current format. I do want to be able to actually watch the damn things and not just have fond memories of them. But, as I've said, Lucas seems to be intentionally denying us this. If...
You know what? At this point they're already ruined, so what does it really matter? In fact, I actually want to see just how much more he can fuck up these films. Bring it on, Lucas.
He has created other movies since Star Wars. Lucas conceived the idea for Indiana Jones and the lesser known...
Small changes can ruin entire scenes. This, for example, pretty much entirely destroys the dramatic tension. Same thing happens when he adds a bunch of goofy CGI shit in the background. It also distracts you from the crap that's actually important on screen.
The problem is that George obviously wants the version currently representing his "definitive version" to be the only one available. I'm sure he would erase any previous version from our minds if he could. Anyway, all versions prior to the Blu-rays are now discontinued I believe, so you're going...
Yeah. Look for the 2008 DVD collection, which has both the special editions and the unaltered films. LucasFilms discontinued it, but I've still seen it in some stores.
Considering that video games are a multibillion dollar industry and that this is America, I'd have to say this threat sounds greatly exaggerated. And, for better or worse, the fact that much of the entertainment industry as a whole opposes California will probably carry some weight. Also, this...
