OK, let's choose our GOTY and our biggest disappointment of 2015

I haven't played that many new games this year. I might get DA:I or MGSV at some point, but not for a while. The ones I've played have all been pretty great, though. Fallout 4 was kinda disappointing compared to New Vegas, but still excellent on its own merits. I'm not sure how well I can...

Poll: The F4 Survey | So is Fallout 4 looking like a great title? | Part 1 of 2

It's feeling a bit shallow in some areas, but I'm having fun with it. That said, what I'm most excited for with this game is seeing what Obsidian and the modders do with it.

Old Games you remember playing but can't remember the name of.

Trying to remember the name of a game (I think it was a game). I think it was 2 words, one of which I was able to make into 'Gordon' just by changing one letter. I know that's not much of a clue, but it's all I've got.

    _______ Warriors

I'd like to see a Dynasty Warriors-style game with spaceships. If it has to be based on a preexisting IP, I'd go for either Star Wars or Star Control. Star Wars has the epic, larger-than-life stuff down, and Star Control has a good variety of ships.

Best Version of Fist of the North Star?

Title, basically. It sounds like something I want to get into, but since there are many different adaptations and I have limited time and money, I need help deciding which one to buy.

Is It Possible? "A Phantom Edit" Makes Star Wars Prequels Surprisingly Good

I'd actually recommend Darths & Droids [http://www.darthsanddroids.net/] over this, which re-imagines the saga as a tabletop RPG.

The most famous person from your town/city

I think the current Duchess of Cambridge is from my town. More of interest to me is John Winchcombe AKA Jack O'Newbury [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_O%27Newbury], who was a major figure in the English cloth trade around the 16th century. Also, Richard Adams...

Your favourite cheesy, campy and silly movie?

The one, the only Flash Gordon. Serious actors like Max von Sydow and BRIAN BLESSED letting themselves go wild, soundtrack by fricken Queen... This film has it all, as far as I'm concerned.

Let's defend berated games in a series we like

Doom 3. Whilst I freely admit that it takes more than a few cues from System Shock 2 and Half-Life, it's not a bad game because of that. In fact, it's not bad at all. I'd say that its use of darkness and limited resources makes it a pretty excellent survival horror game with a load of other...

Obscure Game Characters that Deserve a Revival

Fwiffo, and really the Spathi in general, from Star Control II.

Are there any games you play just for the soundtrack?

Title says it, basically. Other than games about music, are there any games you love just because of the soundtrack? For me, it's One Must Fall 2097 [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UvlVaQl7kEk]. I normally can't stand either fighting games or techno music, but OMF is the exception.

Kirk, Solo, Shepard - Who Is The Best Space Hero?

Clearly, the best space hero is Zathras. At least, Zathras thinks so. Zathras is sad that no-one remembers Zathras.

    Recommend me a Sci-Fi RPG

Star Control II. It's not really a traditional RPG, being based around a Spacewar!-esque shoot-em-up with equipment-based progression, but it is great fun. Also, it's free, which basically means you have no excuse not to at least try it. http://sc2.sourceforge.net/

Looking for opinions on Neill Blomkamp

I've only seen Elysium, but I think Blomkamp could be a good fit for Alien. There's a few things I'm uncertain about, but it definitely looks like he has the aesthetic down.

    Poll: England's greatest prime minister?

+1. But if I had to be serious, I'd go for Attlee for actually trying to fix things.
