You're probably thinking 256 players in a typical console's "large" FPS map. There are gameplay videos where the demonstrator opened up a map that gives an overview of the entire field. One fifth of the map is about the size of a typical "large" FPS map.

This is great. Once the patches come though, I can finally play with friends.
It's Capture the Flag, except you can feed the flag cake to make it tougher for the opponent to carry it.
I laughed when Garza, from Killzone 2, died. He gets shot while he was getting rescued. Then the player slams his fist on Garza's coffin. Then the airship carrying the coffin bought the farm.

When I play shooters on PC, no I don't use auto-aim. For consoles, I have the feature on. This is because all thumbsticks have a "dead-zone".
What I mean by "dead-zone" is that little small area around where the thumbstick resets to when you release your thumb from it which doesn't have...
I don't. I like having battles in real-time, or a hybrid of both (such as the Grandia series).
I also don't like controlling a full party in a battle. I like controlling just that one dude I highlighted, and be able to give out commands or requests to the other party members at whim.

I like supporting others from a distance. I prefer being an archer over anything else. I also like playing as a character with ESP, or a mage if the former is not available (which it usually isn't). Last but not least, I may also choose to play as the healer.
I prefer having the character silent, because it enhances the immersion. It feels like more like I'm in the spot, rather than controlling a talking marionette.
I also believe whether or not the character talks depends on who the developers want the character to be.
