Ill start by saying I loved the AC franchise. Have 100% both 2 and brotherhood.
But Revelations is boring me to death.. im struggling to even have will power to start up the console. Its the same gameplay though but theres something about it that doesnt give it the sparkle the other had for...
Brown and Bloom or the customer. As long as people are demanding and taking the same type of game over and over, publishers will just push all their resources into that. When was the last time Activision tried to push another franchise apart from CoD?
Call of Duty, Halo, Gears and Oblivion/Fallout
Basically the popular games now with 10 year olds will be seen as great games when they are in their 20's and looking their their nostalgia goggles.
A lot of people seem to have an issue when a game uses matchmaking, especially a FPS game and im now wondering why. I'll start by admitting that deicated server / client system is the most ideal system for playing a multiplayer FPS game but you have to admit matchmaking would fine in most games...
Im a bit mixed when it comes to DLC in its current form. When you buy a full priced game it should have enough content, for example a decent number of multiplayer maps. If I then enjoy the game I dont mind spending a bit of money (a few dollars not $15 or whatever for the CoD packs) to get a few...
its simple
if you want co-op and a zombie theme : dead island
if you want only solo and a cyberpunk theme : dues ex
both good games imo, but i much prefer dues ex but that could be put down to the setting and story. Dues ex offers quite a few ways to play which might tailor it to you...
Im sorry but most of your points there were about graphics and having a few extra polygons on screen will not make or break a game with the current average level of graphics.
I can agree with you on the disk storage with the case of FFXIII but I do put the blame on square more for that as...
I can understand if a game goes exclusive but why is there so much hate for games that move to be multiplatform. Two good examples are Dark Souls and Diablo 3, most forums I visit are filled with people who seem to take it as an insult that a game is on another platform.
The things to look...
I played goldeneye the last night and quite enjoyed myself. Graphics (which everyone complains about) are fantastic for the Wii, the amount of effects on screen at once is very impressive.
The only problem I have with it is if you play on classic 00 diffficulty is that the missions take about...
DAO is far better on PC. Its one of the best PC versions of a game thats come out in a long time.
I never encountered any bugs and the interface is 100s of times better than teh console versions.
Its definitely a PC game and not a console game.
Fallout 3. Damn frustrating when it freezes and looses saves constantly. I enjoyed the game once all that was fixed up.
Just so its clear, just because i said fallout was buggy doesnt mean im some anti fallout fanboy or have a hatred for besthesda.
