    Scared of Watchdogs

I was planning to pre-order but held off once it was delayed. After watching some of the game play trailers and reading community feedback I'm going to wait and see how it's perceived after it's been out for a few days. In all likelihood I'll still buy it as it does seem like a fun an...

    Activison loosing the Marvel License?

According to IGN [http://au.ign.com/articles/2014/01/02/marvel-titles-no-longer-available-digitally] the licenses just expired, who they'll award them to remains unknown but I guess with EA getting Star Wars you may not be far off the mark.

    Advent calendars

Don't think there's anything wrong with having an advent calendar at any age. I'm 27 myself and I have a Lego Star Wars one and I can't tell you how giddy I was when a mini x-wing was behind yesterday's door!

    I just threw my controller...

I've occasionally thrown my controller but more often than not I hit my sofa or the nearest cushion. Usually happens when I play a game I know I'm good at but, for whatever reason, I'm being hopelessly pants on at that moment in time.

EA Reportedly Cancelled Mirror's Edge Sequel

Shame to hear this as I really enjoyed the original for simply that; it was original. I'm hoping that it'll lie dormant for a wee while then at some point DICE will pick it up as a side project and release a sequel. Pipe dreams I know but I don't care.

    Parties...?

I've never been much of a party goer either mainly because I'm not overly interested in going most of the time. At University I never went to one nor did I attend pub/clubs and rarely set foot in the Student's Union bar. I've had the odd birthday party (had a fancy dress one last year) but one...

3D, am I the only one?

Right now I'm not too fussed either way. I saw Avatar and while cool it was an average movie and the 3D didn't grab as much as it was hyped up to be. However I have watched sport in 3D and that was pretty cool. Having the depth of field to cross field passes etc was pretty cool. I'm still...

Poll: Should smokers be denied access to Medicare? (Australian Medicare)

I initially voted yes on instinct without reading the many good points put forward here. On hindsight I'd vote no after reading the many responses on this topic. I think my initial reaction was that like illness related to excess of anything it's for most a concious decision to do so. As such...

Game Room Service Falters Before it Can Begin

Meh I wasn't interested in it when it was announced, I've not touched it since it launched and wouldn't care a jot if it disappeared.

Spock Warps into Permanent Star Trek Retirement

Definitely a deserved retirement and surprised he didn't a while ago to be honest.

Poll: Who wants to live forever?

Pretty much what I was going to say. Had this asked of me once and when I said life would be boring it just didn't seem to compute. The whole point to me of having a finite existence is so that at times I can be urged in to doing things deemed risky or exciting because I've only got this life...

Question of the Day, April 22, 2010

Simple answer is no. The longer answer is that I have a TV for which I have to pay a TV license for as well as my subsription to Virgin for their cable TV. I don't need and wouldn't want to pay for a premium channel.

    Caffeine: Serenity

Excellent review, I was one of those who saw the movie then the series and boy did it make more sense after that. Just a shame that the series went the way of the dodo.

Question of the Day, April 21, 2010

Have had both a PSP and DS and hardly used them enough to warrant keeping them so sold them off. I've only gamed on the move since I got my iPhone and that's as sporadic at best. Then again since I learned to drive I rarely use public transport/get driven so don't have the opportunites.
