Exactly at what point did we as a culture transition from the idea that vampires are creepy, withered,floating hell-spawn, who hold the human soul right under a mouse turd.(Count Dracula) To vampires being skinny, girly, teenagers, who whine about their emotions and dress like rejected members...

I'd say the half-life series, but ff VII will always hold a special place in my heart.
