As someone who migrated to PC a while ago DIDN'T NOTICE this "slowdown", let me assure you that PC gaming won't "die". If anything (as some people have tried to articulate) we wouldn't be using a "pc" AT ALL and therefore it wouldn't really make sense to game on it lol... but for now the PC...

Yes, quite! And PC parts are really quite cheap these days (for the incredible cosmic power); look for an intel core 2 duo, suitable motherboard and ram, and an older cheap good card like a 7900GT.. could build something decent for like 300-400 us ^^
