I know this is a bit late, but has anyone else played it and loved it? Although I'm not the one for hardcore challenge, this game just interreges me so much. With it's gruesomeness and it's blasphemy, I can't help but feel that there are undertones in there I want to explore.

If you ask me, this "Evan Narcisse" fellow is the racist one here. Like OP said, both white and black people have that accent, it's only racist if you let it.
I've always talked about how it would be cool to have the next game take place in colonial America, but I never really put any thought into it, your idea sounds much better and more planned out, and it would be very interesting to see it in the game.

Probably the reason why there isn't any in-game is because the average soldier (or mercenary in this case) is male, so including females would feel inaccurate to the stereotypes of the characters.

I didn't really like Mass Effect or Oblivion,
Kingdom Hearts was ok but now that the story is totally bananas, it's not anymore,
