Cutscenes need to die. Videogames are games, not movies. Developers need to put on their thinking caps and find ways to integrate such "story events" without leaving the protagonist's perspective or taking the controller out of the player's hands.
I worship everything Schafer touches, so naturally I'm excited. Though I think the game is being advertised as something it's not really going to live up to (action, badassery) and instead should be recognized for the insanely creative and hilarious mind behind it.
Like everyone else, I was blown away with the Scarecrow encounters (made me want to replay Psychonauts). After his first boss battle, I thought the side-scrolling/giant Scarecrow thingy was brilliant and I couldn't wait to see where they would go with the next inevitable encounter. Sure enough...
