Well since i like to be the helpful one in the group i play medic, generally topping the scoreboards with between 4-8k points on the PC depending on how much noobtubing is going on... other than that i feel as if i am actually a burden in anything other than infantry only...

well afaik there is nothing that can replace the defibb in the assault class except the medic bag for a grenade launcher or something which is also lame as hell.
