You can unlock them at a later stage with the normal game and i doubt that the extra guns will be overpowered, the coaxail machine gun might be though. OT: DLC, dev's who release the game and intentionally leave out content (which in some cases is already on the disk) to charge for at a later...

Well for me the things that get my adrenalin rushing most of all are hard, but close races in racing games, especially if it's an online race. I usually end up buzzing after one.

I don't think you really need much more than The Orange Box, as Half Life and Half Life: Opposing Force are getting remade as mods using the current Source engine. However this is just my opinion.
