It isn't. Most Vista bashers are either Mac users or people who have never used it. You can disable most of the annoying features in about 10 seconds, which is most of what anyone complains about anyways.

I have a small kitten. It does like to go places it's not supposed to go and eat things it's not supposed to eat, but the best thing to do is just always keep a small watch on it and make sure it's not doing anything drastic. I'm not saying watch it 24/7, but cats need lots of attention anyway...
