I don't dislike DLC/Season Pass, I just dislike crappy DLC. For example, a DLC with maybe 2 maps and some skins or other cosmetics isn't something I'm willing to spend money for.
I've never loved Valve. Haven't hated it really either. As numerous others have stated, despite the rather melodramatic overtones, the article raises a few key points.
My real beef with Valve is the DRM shitstorm it throws at you. Unfortunately, GOG has a much smaller library, and I care...
I played P.T, which was pretty creepy. It got less scary as time went on, however. F.E.A.R. and Amnesia didn't scare me per se, but they were definitely unsettling.
I didn't care for Half-Life. There were other, much better Valve games.
Also, as noted, this article is rather alarmist and unprofessional. It's making too big a deal out if this.
Tried it and hated it. The guns do zilch for damage, making them all pretty much useless. (barring the GLOO gun). And Prey seems to enjoy just throwing mimics in every freaking corner that you encounter. In addition, I didn't enjoy the campaign very much. The pacing felt off.

I haven't played too many "this generation" games. I have yet to get over my Starcraft obsession.
For this generation, my top 3 are (in no particular order)
1) Horizon Zero Dawn
2) Shadow of Mordor
3) Watchdogs 2
