I tortured myself throught the first volume of "Wolves of Time" or such, then gave another book by he same author a chance because I vaguely remembered having read (and liked) an excerpt of that one many years ago... made it halfway through, then threw it away.

I think the "hate" is actually not directed at the person/game/whatever but at the usually unjustified hype around them. It can get to ones nerves quickly.

"Grinding" before Level 4?? How does one do that? Back to the topic: I could never understand the Diablo craze... to me it was just a combination of bad graphics and boring gameplay.
