From what I've heard, Transformers 4 succeeds in what it's trying to be, and manages to entertain as well. Interstellar does not. It was also expected to be one of the better films this year, and the "dissapointingly generic Summer blockbuster" nieche is pretty well covered by TMNT and Spider-man 2.

I just saw it as well. It was actually better than I expected. I mean, I had expected it to be total shite, and indeed the early part was a little bit up itself, but once they got to north Korea itself, there were some funny jabs at the NK peculiarities, as well as some pretty funny gore and...

Why is it "just" called Banner Saga 2? There is so much imagination in the rest of the game, it's weird to see such a generic title.

I see this as a cautios step in the right direction. If the film is marketed differently from other DC movies, it may also be made differently from other DC movies, which would indicate that the filmmakers have some idea of what the hell they are doing with the franchise.

I will start watching from legitimate sites when they stop putting a damn region-lock on them. Simple as that.

The animated movie kinda sold me on the concept. Sure, there there were some parts of the aesthetic I felt were kinda "15-year old's idea of edgy" but there was also some of the mature content I liked, and though the characters were introduced in a hurried pace, their interactions laid enough...

The WoW creative team is also involved in the writing. (According to Blizzcon panels, anyway) I would say, that while the Warcraft lore isn't exactly Shakespeare, they've always had a way of delivering really cool set-pieces. Not sure how the pacing, dialogue or humour are going to go over, or...

What rubs me the wrong way is the "Hasn't seen Luke since the end of the last movie" part. Why? He was in love with the guy's sister, they were best friends and were working in the same alliance. Is the movie going to pretend that the Star Wars-universe literally just stopped for 30 years...

I love the MTG-lore! It doesn't sound like it's being handeled by people who know what it is. I'm a little bit sad...
