My opinion as to why the PS3 is Shunned, simple, Cost and Blu-Ray, sure it's expensive, that aside, blu-ray holds more data but much shallower on the disc, that and the blu-ray discs are thinner than a CD making them far more easily lose data and break, don't get me wrong, I've broken Xbox 360...
