I shave once a week using an electric razor.
It's pretty sketchy come Friday though. I really need to start shaving daily as it's like trimming a forest come the weekend - it takes forever.
Yeah, I agree with the people saying it's when they've been carried. When I have an off day (or fighting my counter) in LoL and I am really not enjoying myself, spending lots of time dead, getting barely any kills or assists and generally feeling like I've let the team down. Even if you win you...
Actually tipping is the norm over here (I always tip anyway), but it's still an extra to be earned through service, you can freely not tip and not be harassed as you leave the restaurant.
UK here.
Cursive or 'joined up writing' as we call it here is definitely the norm, so much so that I can't actually recall reading anything hand written recently that was not.
It's so engrained to me that I actually struggle printing my name on documents, I simply don't naturally write...
As a PC gamer I HATE paying for Xbox Live, however I do do so when an Xbox exclusive I must own is released.
Microsoft really are taking the piss however, considering their dashboard now has tons of adverts all over it, and when your paying monthly that just grates the wrong way.
Do you have a setting called 'Dynamic Contrast' on?
Dynamic contrast basicly dims/lightens your screen to give a better contrast ratio. Unfortunately it'll often ruin films with very dark/very bright scenes.
To fix, disable Dynamic Contrast.
Yeah, I did think about that and simply having a HDMI splitter from my receiver output to switch between my PC screen and TV. My main issue with that would be any possible input lag it may create, but I think it'd be pretty negligible.
Hello all!
I have recently purchased a home cinema system (Panasonic 590) with the intention of using it for Xbox and as speakers for my PC.
Xbox works fine, and 5.1 works fine on my PC - surround sound games and 5.1 videos work fine, and stereo videos are simulated as 5.1. My issue...
After watching the show I started reading the books.
They are fantastic and I am so glad I did. The main issue however is due to the length of them and the period of time it may take you to read them if your not on holiday and have to take natural breaks it can get a little confusing due to...
I agree actually, as I've never played Mass Effect and thus haven't played ME3, I can't actually think of a major release this year (off the top of my head) that's had a really great story with it. Sleeping Dogs has promise (I haven't completed it yet) but apparently the ending is a let down...
Oh indeed there are. But I am referring to blockbusters here as they are the equivalent of AAA titles in games.
We do have realistic women in games, most however are from indie or less mainstream titles. Such is the same in the film industry.
While true for TV, I still disagree about movies. Most blockbuster movies will have a 'star' attached to them, most of whom are not representative of the majority of people.
I do agree however that when you have realistic people in the roles it is so much more immersive. This is probably the...
I would argue games don't NEED realistic women in them. How many romcoms have realistic women in them? Sex in the city featured 4 sticks as far as I can tell, all of whom had so much money that they didn't even flinch when one of their partners loses a job.
They just need games, AAA games...
I really don't get the 'women don't look like this in real life' thing people have with video games. You know what? Most MEN don't look like the characters they play in video games either.
Is Arnold Schwarzenegger the only person who can play Duke Nukem and not be offended?
How about...
