I remember playing CoD4 back when it first came out. Me and a friend joined a lobby that was very nearly ready and the only thing we heard from a guy on the other team before the match started was slight sniffeling and a bit of a whine then somebody in the background (pressumably his dad?)...

To me sequels only seem a good idea if you originally plan the story to span more than one game. After playing the original Halo recently, the ending makes me feel that Bungie did NOT entirely have a trilogy planned, but more that they had the idea in their heads if it ever did very well...

I've always been a fan of positioning myself in an ambush location so that if an enemy follows my character after spotting me, you can actually watch a few pellets from an assault shotgun enter their face before they cartwheel down a cliff or something. Other than that, i love setting up...

I signed up to this site just for this topic :D I have a couple that stick out in my mind. I remember that playing a private match on Call of Duty 4 with the settings of oldschool AND hardcore could create some weird moments. Especially if you smash a car window, chuck an uncooked grenade...
