Don't know if this has been mentioned...but China Mieville has several novels set in a steampunk universe. Punchcard based AI, is a character in one novel. So...steampunk.

I really want to say Cowboy Bebop, and am so so SAD that it took so long to be said...but at the same time, i think that it ended perfectly, and really...as amazing a character Spike is, he needs to be dead. Although, a spin-off showing how the rest of the Bebop crew is doing would be ok.

Red FAction on the PC. At the time, it was one of the more innovative FPS' out there, with the destructibility of nearly everything. The story was actually one of the few worthwhile ones that I'd seen at that point in time. That, and Oni, any version. REALLY fun game, nothing groundbreaking...
