    The Horrible Future of Gaming

Cyanide and Happiness. A good comic strip, that happeness to be both depressing and hiliarious at the same time. It can be made to work. The OP was suppose to make fun of doom-sayers, problems with games, and the people who are ALWAYS whinning about games. I'm sorry you didn't find it funny.

SNL has had time to perfect their art. I wrote this up in about five minutes. Its hard to compare this with SNL, simply because SNL is verbal and visual. I wasn't asking you to like it.

Both XD This thread was made to be over dramatic. They did, but they released it in a 4 part mini series, each of which took 10 years to release. When I was in the future, they had only released two parts. XD

The thing is though, it could never happen. At least, not in the next 20 years. I didn't go into the shooter thing because people like Yatzee do it so well already that I'd either do something imitating them, or I'd be using a subject done a thousand times already.

I know it isnt a valid number, ahaha. So, your computer has over 3000GB without add ons or anything? Like, you bought a computer in 2007 that had over 3000GB in one hard drive? What do you need all that space for!!!! I have to honestly say I don't know what MML3 is. I know, I'm pathetic XD...

That, and bootlegs of offial versions. One of friends got a ruby version that turned out to be bootleged, and it actually corrupted his Game Boy Advance SP.

I have to agree. Sometimes thats hard now. I know a couple friends that bought a 2nd hand pokemon game only to find it was a bootleg.

To be honest, I thought more people were going to talk about the DLC point, or the total play time.

    The Horrible Future of Gaming

Well, I usually play my games offline. To me, not having something physical call my own seems wrong. Thats why I usually buy actuall cds, dvds, and video games, instead of downloading them. Well, I think people would be upset about it, but as long as it is reasonable, I don't think it would be...

    The Horrible Future of Gaming

Hard to tell if this is sarcasim or not, but I'll take it as if it is. Unlike 2012 people, or doom-sayers, I don't believe what i posted is going to happen. I just like to poke fun at annoying things. Like you do with doom-sayers and 2012 people. XD Edit: Sorry for the double post.

    The Horrible Future of Gaming

Depends on your sense of humor. Whats funny to one person can be boring to another. To each his own. I wasn't going for a masterpiece here, so I didn't expect it to be good. Ah, well you just so happened to go to an alternate reality, or you didn't go far enough. If Half Life 3 came out when...

Just look at the loading times in Duke Nukem Forever. Haha, thanks! I've been on Escapist for a while, but I rarely post anything. And I hope it's still as funny as you think it is in the morning. XD

    The Horrible Future of Gaming

Of course I was joking. I just looked at all of the problems of gaming I've seen, combined with all the complaints that I keep seeing, and multiplied it by ten. To anything other than a joke would be crazy. Just take a step back to laugh, not necessarily at this somewhat humorous post I made...

    The Horrible Future of Gaming

(The following is a fictional account.) The Horrible Future of Gaming So, after a trip to the future to get my copy of Final Fantasy XXVXVXII I decided to take a look into how gaming has changed in the 20 years I jumped. And boy was it bad. Here are the top items that make gaming so bad in...

    I'm a thirteen year-old gamer.Don't hate me for it.

I agree. I agree, its all up to the parents. But some parents are unable or unwilling to look at the types of games they're buying for their kids. Your parent knew, and understood. I respect and admire that. But some parents just dont care.
