While in school, I tended to follow "class older / class younger" rule. After I hit 18 I stopped going for anything under 18 simply because I had to face the real life and re-evaluate a hell of a lot about my worldview. Anyone who hasn't gone through that seemed to "immature" at the time...

I think Tabula Rasa tried that... Sort of... You could pretty much roll through the early dungeons solo and in the later dungeons 'tanks' and 'healers' were just a liability since 'dps' classes were dishing out ungodly punishment (that could not be out-agroed by a 'tank') and bosses went down...

Yeah. Blitzball was horrible. Its just an 8-bit football (soccer for US-ers) simulator with PS2 graphics. Now, if they had made it possible to move in all 3 dimensions and gave you more control over the actions of the characters... That would have been a whole different stack of pancakes.

Also on the list of "Mary Sue" characteristics of his: 1) being feared loathed and persecuted for who and what he is (with the sad irony of being made that way to protect people who now fear him) 2) being sterile (result of the mutation) but actually WANTING to settle down and have a family...
